Mullvad review: the privacy purist's VPN
Flat €5/month, no accounts, privacy above all
UnconfirmedSample data - pending verificationUpdated Oct 13, 2026
This profile is based on published provider information, not on VPNUS lab testing. We only claim hands-on results when real test data exists - see our testing methodology.
Mullvad refuses even your email address: you get a random account number and pay €5/month, forever, with cash accepted by post.
It led the industry on RAM-only servers and quantum-resistant tunnels, and its no-logs stance survived a police raid with nothing to seize.
It deliberately ignores streaming and marketing gimmicks - choose it for privacy, not for unblocking libraries.
